Food Retail Industry Challenge Fund- A Help for African Farmers
Besides water, food has always been the most important issue in every human life. And that is so because with the help of these products people can survive. In the way that millions of cars need their own oil in order to work, but people need food and water to survive and to find their role in this world. It says that without food you can live a couple of weeks, but without water not even four days. So the importance of these issues cannot even be enough emphasized for impact they leave on humans. Unfortunately there are still poor countries which try to save their population by working more and more every day. For most of them, the water and food are not enough. But to their rescue, there are other people who decide to donate important quantities of resources.
There are different food retail projects and one of them is represented by the Food Retail Industry Challenge Fund. This project is designed to help African farmers and save them from poor conditions. Nowadays, the volume of products exported from Africa to Europe is much lower than the export made by these countries from Asia and Latin America. So the UK and other European markets will help this project by providing a reliable source of income for African farmers. Also the African will get connected with these markets which will lead to an increased European imports from African countries.
The biggest goal of the Food Retail Industry Challenge Fund is to bring more African products on the worldwide market and to offer the farmers more innovative technology. So that is how they try different ways in order to connect these African farmers to global retailers through different business partnerships. What is more is that FRICF will make sure there are no blockages on the market and people will get informed about the benefic effects of simply buying the African products. There were already four projects launched by this foundation, and only the last one has gathered 15 partners. Totally this foundation supports approximately 25 partnerships in countries like Kenya, Malawi, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Senegal or Namibia. In this way on the global markets were included products like coffee, tea, flowers, beef, baobab, palm oil, peanuts or tilapia fish.
As an important issue of everyone’s lives is food and people need to work for every single penny in order to afford it. African countries are quite poor and people try to help them as much as they can. This is the case of Food Retail Industry Challenge Fund, a project that still has a benefic impact on African people. In this way people will understand the need for similar food retail projects, and will try to give their help in such cases. So now all you have to do is to buy the African products and you may help save an African from hunger or even death. This is the way to win the fight against poor living conditions and ensure a bright future for everyone.
